Restrictions on Iowa Social Security Card Replacement
To order your own replacement card you must be at least 18 years old. There’s no fee for replacing the card however it’s worth noting that a card can’t be replaced more than 3 times in a calendar year, and it’s also important to note that there is a lifetime cap: 10 total replacements. This makes it important not to be careless when it comes to your card or the replacement.
